PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Born in Kansas, I moved to California over 40 years ago and taught junior high Spanish and Language Arts in Livermore for 10 years.  I married Duncan MacVicar in 1970.   We have a daughter, Bryn Pennington, who lives with her husband Chris and 2 daughters in Lafayette, Colorado. 

I'm active in my church and community and have been a dedicated volunteer in the field of education.  I love the Los Altos community and have been recognized for my philanthropic work. My family and I are avid fundraisers for cancer-related causes.
